Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or change an appointment with Altitude Aeromedical.

We understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that the appointment can be offered to another applicant.

Your Booking Deposit

A £50 deposit is payable when booking an appointment with Altitude Aeromedical.

The deposit secures your appointment and, when you attend as booked, is deducted from the total fee payable for your aviation medical.

Changing Your Appointment

If you need to move your appointment to another available date or time, please give us as much notice as possible.

Appointments may be rescheduled subject to availability and the terms set out in this policy.

Cancelling Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact Altitude Aeromedical as soon as possible.

Failure to Attend

If you do not attend your appointment and have not cancelled or rescheduled it in accordance with this policy, your £50 booking deposit will be non-refundable.

A new deposit will be required if you subsequently book another appointment.

Late Arrival

Please arrive in good time for your appointment.

If you arrive significantly late, it may not be possible to complete your medical examination without affecting subsequent appointments. Where the appointment cannot reasonably proceed because of late arrival, it may need to be rescheduled.

If Altitude Aeromedical Cancels Your Appointment

On rare occasions, Altitude Aeromedical may need to cancel or rearrange a clinic or appointment.

If we cancel your appointment, you will be offered the opportunity to move your booking to another available appointment or receive a full refund of your booking deposit.

Additional Medical Information or Investigations

Occasionally, an aviation medical assessment may identify the need for further information, medical reports, investigations input before a certification decision can be made.

The need for further assessment or information does not constitute cancellation of the original appointment and does not normally entitle the applicant to a refund of the examination fee.
